REFRESH celebrated its first anniversary since receiving the grant

The celebration of the first anniversary of the REFRESH grant at VŠB-TUO included cake, balloons, and a small gift. The aim of the informal meeting was not only to present the results achieved so far but also to strengthen collaborative relationships.

As the presentation of the project director Igor Ivan showed, some indicators have already surpassedthe expected metrics.However, teams are still confronted with several challenges and need to prepare for the sustainability period.

“You can find details about meeting indicators and other project outcomes on the project website, but I want to emphasize that such informal gatherings are incredibly valuable for a project like this. While the project will conclude (with a total duration of 13 years including sustainability phase), the partnerships we build will last,” remarked Ondřej Slach, Scientific Director of the Social Lab at the University of Ostrava, in a post on his LinkedIn profile.
